Varitone parts kit, including inductor

This kit is a barebones set of parts, with basic documentation for people to create their own tonal shaping system, commonly described as a "Varitone".

Unlike most cheap setups, this kit contains the important inductor, that is often omitted as they are harder to come by than the other parts!

• Xicon inductor (Small audio transformer) 1.5H, Mouser part #42TL021-RC, with centre taps on both primary and secondary side for maximum wiring flexibility
• 1m of waxed, cloth covered, push-back 22awg wire
• Selection of Suntan branded polyester capacitors, one of each of the following:-
  • 0.0033uF
  • 0.0068uF
  • 0.033uF
  • 0.01uF
  • 0.1uF
• Alpha® two pole, six way rotary switch, with washer - choice of two shaft lengths. Comes with dust seal (unlike cheaper OEM ones) to prolong trouble-free operation. The switch requires a mounting hole the same diameter as a standard 6.35mm jack socket
• Mini switch (on-on), with nut and washer

All parts are genuine, brand new and unsoldered, to allow for the builder to determine how to set up their own controls.

These parts ensure that hobbyists and small-batch guitar builders do not have to order ridiculous amounts of components or pay extortionate delivery prices in order to get parts suitable for custom tonal projects
